T. Hailey Hatcher

T. Hailey HatcherT. Hailey Hatcher brings close to 25 years worth of legal experience to Luke Law, LLC.

In the late 1980’s Hailey began his legal career in his hometown of Valdosta, Georgia as a courier and title search clerk with Barham, Elliott, Bennett, Miller, Stone and Cowart. Following this introduction to the legal environment, Hailey sought to broaden his horizons in the profession. Accepting more responsibility and duties, he began work for L. Warren Turner, Jr. and Roger J. Dodd at Dodd and Turner, P.C. in Valdosta as an investigator. This position afforded Hailey the opportunity to work directly under the supervision of the attorneys investigating criminal cases and cases involving injured parties. After two years with Dodd and Turner, P.C., Hailey left the legal field for a short span of time when he took a sales position for Jacksonville, Florida based MAC Papers in Atlanta and then Charlotte.

With a strong desire to come back to the legal profession, Hailey returned to Valdosta in 1992 to serve as an investigator for J. Converse Bright and James G. Tunison, Jr. During his time with Bright & Tunison, Hailey carried out investigations in both civil and criminal cases. Then, in 1996, Hailey moved to Langdale and Vallotton, LLP where he and childhood friend, attorney William P. Langdale, III worked closely together on catastrophic personal injury cases, medical malpractice cases and wrongful death matters. Over the years, Hailey has developed a keen sense of investigatory practices and techniques which have led to successful settlements and jury verdicts for numerous clients. Specifically, Hailey has conducted investigations into auto accidents, tractor trailer accidents, home explosions, burn injuries, amusement park incidents and medical malpractice cases. He has also conducted investigations into numerous wrongful death cases. Due to his long tenure in the legal profession, Hailey has established solid relationships with attorneys, accident reconstructionists, medical professionals and other individuals across the southeastern United States. As a client of Luke Law, LLC, you will greatly benefit from Hailey’s training, experience and relationships by receiving personal, professional representation backed by a solid foundation.

In 2008, prior to graduation from Florida Coastal School of Law, Hailey began his association with Luke Law, LLC in an investigatory position. After passing the bar in April of 2009, Hailey formally joined Luke Law, LLC. Hailey is licensed to practice law in all Florida State Courts.

Hailey’s practice focuses on helping injured victims. With his vast investigative experience, Hailey is devoted to a thorough evaluation and exhaustive exploration into each case. That is why Luke Law, LLC believes that each client, and the case they bring to us, deserves our fullest attention and dedication.

Hailey has been married to Lisa since 1996. They have a toy poodle, Lousie with whom they love to travel. Hailey’s interests also include fishing the Gulf of Mexico out of Suwannee, Florida, listening to music, being in the outdoors and writing. Hailey is a member of the Clay County Bar Association. Additionally, Hailey serves on the Board of Directors for Concert On The Green, Inc., a Clay County organization which provides music and visual art scholarships to Clay County students through the presentation of an annual concert headlined by the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra.

In 2010, Hailey’s letter expressing concerns about the Deepwater Horizon oil rig explosion landed on the desk of President Barack Obama. President Obama directed his staff to contact Hailey, regarding the letter. In October of 2011, Hailey’s letter was one of ten featured in the book “Ten Letters: Stories Americans Tell Their President” written by Washington Post reporter Eli Saslow. During Saslow’s promotion for the book, Hailey was a guest on NPR’s Diane Rehm show, and he also appeared on our local NPR affiliate WJCT with Melissa Ross during her “First Coast Connect” program. If you would like to see a copy of Hailey’s letter, please give him a call.

Nathan R. Ross

nathan@lukelaw.com

Nathan R. RossBefore joining Luke Law, I was an Assistant State Attorney for the Office of the State Attorney in the Fourth Judicial Circuit of Florida. During that time, I prosecuted thousands of cases in Clay County, ranging from Driving under the Influence (“DUI”) to drug possession to domestic violence. Now, my practice is principally limited to defending those accused of DUI. My goal is to be a passionate and zealous advocate for the freedom and constitutional rights of my clients.

I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Florida Coastal School of Law and was an active student during my time there. I served on the editorial board of the Law Review where I helped organize nationally recognized legal symposia. I was awarded competitive internships at both the Florida Supreme Court and the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida. I also served as a student-pupil in the Chester Bedell Inn of Court and first began representing clients in the consumer law clinic at Florida Coastal.

My wife and I reside in Green Cove Springs. Together we enjoy working with animal charities. I am a motorcycle enthusiast and am involved in a mentor relationship established through Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northeast Florida.
